![]() Low Tidings: This is basically this show's Christmas special. Give the episode a watch to find out what happens because I don't want to spoil it.Ĩ. And I like the part at the beginning and when he asks them to find the wrappers, it's great stuff. It's pretty clever and the actual ending is so funny they trick him into thinking something and what happens to him is so hysterical. And it's really funny at the end when he finds out what Peppermint Larry is up to. So in my opinion, the best part of this whole episode is are the part where they're finding the wrappers and K'nuckles keeps taking them to give to Peppermint Larry and keeps taking the candy for himself. But once you see the episode yourself, you'll know what it is. Just a great episode.ĩ. That's a Wrap: After Peppermint Larry promises Flapjack and K'nuckles candy if they bring him wrappers, they start collecting all over the place but in actuality, Peppermint Larry is planning something. I won't give away what happens but watch the episode to see for yourself. And then at the end it's obviously revealed she's not dead and what's really going on is perfect. ![]() In my opinion, the best part of this whole episode is this one small scene where they go inside this place where they think Bubby is and they find these fish guts in the shape of a whale and they think the people killed her. It's not that long a plot and yet this is a great episode. ![]() After Flapjack and K'nuckles think that Bubby has been kidnapped, they go to save her. And now I'm going to count down my top 10 favourite episodes. It's not one of my favourites and I don't like it as much as something like SpongeBob or Chowder, but it's still good. The owner of the Candy Barrel with his Candy Wife, who never moves or talks.Īnd I've liked this show for a few years. They live at some docks and there's a bar there where they normally hang out at called the Candy Barrel where they order candy in a glass. The other characters are a whale named Bubby, who, I almost think might be Flapjack's mother because she always acts like she is and both of them live inside her. Each episode is them doing some weird thing or adventure that they either cause or they happen to run into something. They're always obsessing over candy and they're hoping to one day reach an island called Candied Island where they're endless amounts of candy. In fact both shows are pretty similar.įlapjack is a show about a boy actually named Flapjack.Īnd a sea captain named Captain K'nuckles. It is also the season with the shortest amount of episodes, being only 6 (12 segments) in total. The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack is another Cartoon Network like Chowder. It is the shortest aired season, running for less than 2 months. It ended on Augwith " Catch Me If You Candy" and the series finale, " Fish Out of Water". The 3rd and final season of Flapjack premiered on Jwith " Careful What You Fish For". " Mind the Store, Don't Look in the Drawer" It ended on Jwith " A Day Without Laughter", however the actual season finale is " All Hands on Deck" which aired on June 21, 2010, a week prior. Season 2 of Flapjack premiered on Jwith " Jar She Blows!" and " Behind the Curtain". " Lookin' for Love in All the Wrong Barrels" This season took the longest to air, which was 1 year and nearly 2 months. The first season of Flapjack premiered on Jwith " Several Leagues Under the Sea" and " Eye Sea You". These shorts were shown as part of Cartoon Network's Wedgies in 2008, and have a shorter length (about five minutes) than a standard episode (about 22 minutes, without commercials).

![]() While it's clear that this dev process was beneficial for players who got to shape the game in real time, I ask if it was similarly kind to developers. I don't think I would ever go back to a non-early access project Adam Taylor, Obsidian ![]() If we had just made the game and then released it, and then tried to get feedback that way, it would have maybe been a lot harder to adapt and make changes," Dorobiala explains. Just having that instant interaction with the players and seeing what they like and what they don't like…it's super helpful. "Because we're in Xbox Game Preview, we can have instant feedback from our community, especially on social media or our Discord, which is where we gain most of our player feedback. Grounded's lengthy Early Access period gave Obsidian the space and time necessary to tailor the game to its player base. They want more scary bugs, which is one of the most surprising things." But they wanted an infected version, which we put in. "But the one that we got in that players really pushed for was - the infected insects in the game in the haze biome - they wanted the infected wolf spider, which is already one of the biggest spiders in the backyard. It's like… they want more spiders?" Dorobiala says laughing. "What surprises me the most is the insects that the community wants to see, like the camel spider - which is massive - or a trapdoor spider. However, Obsidian says some of the most popular requests from players have been for more scary bugs, not less. The Arachnophobia Safe Mode slider allows players to determine how spidery the Grounded spiders look, with one end of the slider giving you traditional spiders and the other end turning them into floating balls. An early update let players toggle on Arachnophobia Mode if they wanted to avoid scares from the eight-legged freaks in the backyard. That's definitely one of the suggestions that surprised me," Taylor says.īut what kinds of changes has the community helped contribute to over these last two years? Obsidian says they run the gamut from some typical UI requests like changing the way items are named in storage to gameplay suggestions like allowing players to sprint while carrying furniture. "I just never thought about taking pictures in the game like that, and photo mode has been really awesome. Grounded players also convinced Obsidian to add a photo mode to the game. ![]() On that side of the street we had eight feet. “We’re in the lowest part of town we’re at the bottom of the bowl. “I was over here and we had eight feet of water. Pictures of bodies floating in the water have been widely distributed, but they were not a common sight at the time, said Dr John Kokemor, who worked in the aftermath of the storm at Memorial Baptist hospital in the Broodmoor neighborhood. Public perception of the aftermath of the hurricane has been heavily informed by pictures of devastation in the city and news reports at the time of widespread violence that turned out later to be unfounded. “While there are some pictures of bodies floating around in parts of the more flooded areas of the city, there weren’t any bodies floating around the Quarter.” “There were – most of the Quarter, I would say 95% of the quarter didn’t even get any floodwater,” said Lutz. So I would be skeptical of that, myself.” “I seriously doubt it,” said a longtime resident of North Rampart Street in the quarter, Leo Watermeier, a community activist. Darren Crumpton, director of sales and marketing at the Ritz-Carlton, said the hotel does not provide the names of past or future guests, and said the hotel would not take questions about water outside the property during Katrina. Locals remember NBC crews staying in the Ritz-Carlton or Windsor Court or both.Īn archived United Methodist News report with pictures said to be taken by a minister from the Ritz-Carlton hotel during Katrina documents water deep enough to float a boat and, presumably, a body. “I felt something get dislodged that changes the usual arms-length relationship between me and the stories I cover,” Williams said. He described the experience in a 2006 interview with Michael Eisner, who had just stepped down as CEO of Disney, the parent company of ABC News. One of Williams’ most vivid descriptions from his time in New Orleans was of seeing a man “float by face down” from his “hotel room window in the French Quarter”. “This has been a difficult few days for all of us at NBC News,” Turness said. Network president Deborah Turness, a former ITV executive, said in a memo to staff that an internal investigation was under way. NBC News did not respond to several messages left seeking comment on Friday. The Advocate later published a second report that documented flooding around the Ritz-Carlton, one hotel where Williams is believed to have stayed, and acknowledged that “a number of bodies were recovered in that general area”. Two of Williams’ claims about Katrina explored by the Guardian, of seeing a floating body from his hotel and encountering threatening gangs, while attracting the deep skepticism of locals, were difficult to verify because it was unclear which hotel or hotels Williams stayed in. “That’s absolutely hogwash.”ĭetailed doubts about Williams’ recollections of Katrina were raised in a New Orleans Advocate story on Friday. He said he was told not to drink bottled water in front of people because people would kill you for it?” said Dr Brobson Lutz, a former director of the New Orleans city health department who is a longtime resident of the French Quarter and who ran an EMS station there after the storm. Most of them are cheap enough (or free) and easy enough to use that you can try a few things and see what you like. If you want to try something else, though, the good news is that the barrier to doing so, in most cases, is pretty low. In general I suggest you start with tools you already have and see if one of them works for you.

Reinforcement learning is often used when an agent interacts with a dynamic environment, such as robotics, game playing, and autonomous systems. The agent learns through trial and error, receiving feedback through rewards or penalties. Reinforcement learning involves training an agent to make decisions or actions in an environment to maximise a cumulative reward signal. Popular deep learning architectures include convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for image analysis, recurrent neural networks (RNNs) for sequence data, and transformer models for language understanding.
